In 1988, A.l.R. Conway entered the contract screen printing business with one 4 color manual machine. From these humble beginnings, we’ve added M&R automatic screen printing machines capable of producing 10 and 14 color imprints.
For those unfamiliar with the process, screen printing is a technique that uses a woven mesh to support an ink blocking stencil. The stencil attached to the woven mesh forms open areas of the mesh that allows the transfer of ink onto the garment. A squeegee is moved across the screen stencil pushing ink through the woven mesh in the open areas creating a screen print. The number of colors in a screen print can range from one all the way up to 14. A very popular form of contract screen printing is a 4 color process screen print.
A.I.R. Conway is equipped to add special treatments and special effects to your contract screen printing job such as Clear, Glow in the Dark, Foil, Puff and Mixed Media as well as Metallic and High Density inks.
Our contract screen printing production capabilities range from 12 to 100,000 pieces and we can print an average of 10,000 pieces a day.
